a steady inside-linebacker build with size and depth value for Southeastern Louisiana
Mike Johnson enters the 2025 season as a 6-foot-1, 210-pound sophomore inside linebacker for Southeastern Louisiana, giving the Lions a compact, physical presence in the middle of the defense. His profile suggests a downhill, assignment-sound defender with enough frame to hold up inside and the kind of toughness coaches love for special teams and rotational snaps. For a team, he looks like a sensible depth add who can grow into a reliable tackler if his game speed and play recognition keep advancing.
