Nia Clark brings veteran guard grit, steals, and shot-making to Marquette
Nia Clark is a proven, high-IQ guard who has shown real two-way value and leadership at Marquette, with a 2022-23 line of 3.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in 27 games, plus a knack for disruptive defense and timely scoring. Before Marquette, she was Xavier’s leading scorer in 2021-22 at 11.7 points per game and averaged 1.5 steals, which hints at her best calling card: pressure defense, experience, and composure. If you need a tough, connective backcourt piece who can stabilize possessions and raise the competitive temperature, she’s a strong fit.
