Transfer RB with Burst, Not DL Charlie – Explosive Runner Lighting Up K-State Backfield
Note: No reliable data links Charlie Bodiford (Iowa OLB commit, 6-2/225 from South Dade HS, class of 2000) to Western Illinois DL; results point to **Makari Bodiford**, a sophomore RB (6-0/215, ex-Memphis) now at Kansas State after transferring. In 2025 at Memphis, he rushed for key TDs including an 8-yard score in a 28-7 win over Troy (217 team rush yds), showcasing middle-endurance strength and 3 TDs early season. Physical, versatile back with Georgia HS pedigree (Walton) – high-motor differentiator, no injury flags, perfect fit for power-run schemes needing reliable 3rd-down spark.
