Bryce Smith brings proven tackling production and a high-floor linebacker profile to Samford
Bryce Smith projects as a dependable, assignment-sound **linebacker** whose value is built on tackling consistency, physical edge, and maturity rather than flash; Samford’s profile lists him as a Bulldogs LB, and his earlier college production showed the kind of volume tackling that separates steady defenders from replaceable ones. He fits best for a team that wants a hard-nosed, reliable presence in the middle, especially if you value football IQ, effort, and special-teams utility over highlight-reel athleticism. The main question is upside, not toughness or intent.
