Stunner Gonzales is a towering 6-foot-7 UCSB righty with upside and a live arm
In the 2026 season, Stunner Gonzales posted a 4.15 ERA with 12 strikeouts, 8 walks, and a 1.27 WHIP in 8.2 innings for UC Santa Barbara, after a clean, scoreless freshman debut in 2025[1][6]. The appeal is obvious: a 6-foot-7, right-handed power arm who already has USA Baseball gold-medal pedigree and has shown he can pitch in leverage, including escaping a bases-loaded jam in relief against California Baptist in 2025[1][10][12]. He looks like a high-upside fit if a team wants size, projection, and swing-and-miss potential, though the command still has room to tighten.[1][6]
