Chance Gladden is BU’s do-everything freshman guard — and he’s already a late-game menace
In the 2025-26 season, Boston University guard Chance Gladden emerged as a high-usage freshman playmaker, averaging 14.4 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.2 rebounds in 33.4 minutes while shooting 47.6% from the field and 86.7% at the line.[1] His best calling card is poise: BU’s conference notes credited him with a team-high 22.5 points per game during a January rookie-of-the-week stretch, and his March buzzer-beater against Navy turned him into the kind of guard you trust when the shot clock is a rumor and the pressure is real.[1][2][3]
