Maverick Gamble brings size, range, and late-season trust to Merrimack’s secondary
Gamble is a **6'3", 180-pound junior DB** who earned a bigger role by playing in **nine games** and starting the **final five** in his most recent season, finishing with **16 tackles, one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup**. [3][5] His length and gradual rise into the lineup suggest a defender coaches can trust in coverage and in run support, with upside as a physical, assignment-sound fit for a secondary needing reliable depth rather than just highlight plays.
