South Carolina State’s DB with intriguing name, but limited public stat trail
Anquavious Hunter looks like a South Carolina State defensive back whose public footprint is still thin, so the best read is a prospect/depth-chart watch rather than a proven stat-sheet star. What should matter is the upside profile: DBs who stick at SCSU usually earn snaps by being reliable in coverage, willing in run support, and steady in special teams—traits that don’t always show up in basic box scores. If your team values toughness, versatility, and development runway, he’s worth monitoring; if you need a plug-and-play producer with a long statistical resume, this is not that lane yet.
