Missouri's Steal Machine Turned NBA Heat Contributor
Dru Smith, the Missouri Tigers' lockdown guard, dominated the SEC in 2019-20 with 64 steals (conference lead) and senior averages of 14.3 points, 3.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game, showcasing elite defensive intensity and pesky playmaking. His 89.9% free-throw clip and four 20-point outbursts highlight scoring punch. Now thriving with the 2025-26 Miami Heat (5.6 PTS, 2.5 REB, 2.6 AST, 41.5% FG), Smith's gritty, high-motor style makes him a perfect two-way fit for contending teams craving perimeter defense and hustle.
