veteran Beavers contributor with a versatile, high-IQ game
Wetzel is best viewed as a proven, multi-sport Oregon State athlete whose basketball résumé is limited but whose broader Beaver career shows competitiveness, durability, and team value; she appeared in two games for the women’s basketball team, while also building a much larger body of work in soccer with 61 career appearances, five goals and 10 assists entering her final season. That combination suggests a player who understands systems, competes hard, and can add depth more than headline scoring. If you want a low-drama, adaptable teammate with strong collegiate experience, she fits that profile.
