Mike Zepeda brings veteran-size interior presence to UC Riverside
In the 2001-02 season, Mike Zepeda gave UC Riverside a steady 6'9" center with efficient finishing and a blue-collar rebound-and-block profile: 2.0 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.2 blocks per game, while shooting 50.0% from the field in limited minutes. His value is less about gaudy numbers and more about dependable interior minutes, physicality, and a no-frills style that fits a team needing size and effort. The main takeaway: he looks like a classic glue big—useful if you want rebounding, rim protection, and toughness without needing the offense run through him.
