Dalen Whitlock brings size and backcourt depth to Texas State
Whitlock is a **6'3" point guard** who gives Texas State a larger guard body and depth in the backcourt, but his recent role has been limited, with only brief action in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons and just **8 appearances in 2022-23**. His value is more about fit than flash: a developmental guard who can add size, positional flexibility, and practice competitiveness, though the available stats do not show a major on-court statistical impact yet. If you need immediate production, he is not a high-usage option; if you want a disciplined depth piece with upside, he is worth monitoring.
