Scottre Humphrey is New Mexico’s downhill engine, not an OT
Quick flag: the available information points to Scottre Humphrey, New Mexico’s senior running back, not an offensive tackle. In 2026, he was listed as the Lobos’ top RB and has already shown he can handle a featured role, after producing 349 rushing yards and 5 TDs on 77 carries in 2025. The appeal is clear: he brings veteran size, feel, and a lead-back workload, giving New Mexico a dependable tone-setter who can wear down defenses.
