Ashton Logan gives MTSU a real field-position weapon
In the 2025 season, Middle Tennessee punter Ashton Logan emerged as a high-end special teams asset, averaging 44.7 yards on 66 punts with 29 downed inside the 20 and 19 boots of 50+ yards, a profile good enough to land him on preseason Ray Guy Award and All-Conference USA watch lists for 2026[1][8][9][12]. The big differentiator is consistency with hidden-yardage impact: Logan pairs a live leg with strong placement, and that combo makes him the kind of punter who quietly tilts games even when the offense is having an off night[1][12].
