Brian Jacobs brings steady, ball-hawking safety play to Davidson
Brian Jacobs is a proven defensive back for Davidson whose value goes beyond tackles: in the 2021 season he tied for the team lead with two interceptions and earned PFL Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors, then followed with 20 tackles, a tackle for loss and two pass breakups in the 2022 season. He’s a compact, reliable safety with clear playmaking instincts, active hands and a track record of showing up in big spots. His Academic Honor Roll recognition also points to the kind of discipline and consistency coaches like.
