veteran Islanders guard who brings steady floor leadership
Antonio Topps is a seasoned Texas A&M-Corpus Christi guard whose game profile is built on composure, experience, and reliable decision-making more than gaudy box-score production. In the available college stat line, he posted 2.1 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game with a 29.3% field-goal mark in his college career, so the value is not volume but steady veteran presence and guard poise. He also drew praise in recruiting-era coverage as a combo guard from Chicago who averaged 18 points, four rebounds, and five assists in high school, suggesting a player with feel, toughness, and connective-guard potential.
