veteran Memphis DB with a sure-tackle reputation and proven production
In the 2008 season, Alton Starr led Memphis in tackles with 86, and his career totals show a high-volume, steady presence in the secondary rather than a splashy highlight-only profile[15][4]. At 6-foot, 205 pounds, he brings a mature, physical DB frame and the kind of reliability coaches love when they want a defense to tackle cleanly and stay organized[4][14]. He looks like a fit for a team that values toughness, experience, and consistency over upside-only flash.
