a Puerto Rico forward with program-level upside
Cepeda is a forward for Western Illinois whose profile is built around frontcourt size and positional flexibility rather than flash; ESPN lists him as a #3 forward from Loíza, Puerto Rico, which gives him a clear developmental frame as a college big who can fit multiple roles.[1] The available public data is thin, so the best read is that he is more of a project/role fit than a fully documented stat-stuffer right now, making him most interesting to teams that value upside, coachability, and front-line depth over immediate production.[1]
