McNeese DB Dominique Hill: Ball-Hawking, Big-Play Veteran With Conference-Level Recognition
Dominique Hill has a proven playmaking profile for McNeese, showing interception skills, pass-breakup production, and backfield disruption in his earlier seasons; in 2015, he was credited with 59 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, nine pass breakups, one interception, and two forced fumbles, and he later earned 2017 preseason All-Southland recognition[1][2]. His differentiators are instincts, physicality around the ball, and a knack for producing momentum-swinging plays — the kind of DB who can change a game with one jump on the route. The caution flag: the available reports also note a suspension-shortened season, so consistency and availability matter as much as his talent[1].
