Cortez Forte brings steady backcourt depth to Eastern Illinois
Forte is a low-usage guard whose current production is modest, but he can still help as a role player with functional perimeter shooting and defensive activity; in the most recent available stats, he averaged 3.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 0.6 assists and shot 37.0% from the field for Eastern Illinois. [2] His value is less about headline numbers and more about being a dependable, passable-fit guard who can absorb minutes without needing the offense built around him, though the available data does not show a clear high-end creation or playmaking profile.
