Ryan Recio gives Richmond a veteran bat with pop and run-production punch
In the 2026 season, Richmond infielder Ryan Recio has been a steady offensive catalyst, hitting .244 with a .897 OPS, 9 home runs, 28 RBI, and 31 hits in 127 at-bats. He brings real middle-of-the-order juice, with multiple game-changing homers and a knack for driving in runs in key spots. At 6-foot-2, 200 pounds and now in graduate-student status, he adds maturity, physicality, and experience after arriving at Richmond in January 2026 following his degree at Webber International. If you want a power-hitting INF who can change the scoreboard fast, he’s a fit.
