ULM's Steady 2012 CB Hand from HS Recruiting Days
Otis Peterson, a 5-11, 155-pound cornerback who signed with Louisiana-Monroe from Belle Chasse High (Class of 2009), showed reliability in the 2012 season by appearing in all 13 games with two starts and notching 14 tackles (8 solo); his undersized frame highlights gritty intensity and positional versatility, transitioning smoothly from HS wide receiver to defensive contributor without notable injury flags. A dependable depth piece for Sun Belt squads valuing hustle over elite size—solid fit for teams needing tough, experienced slot corners.
