Savannah State DB Gerald Robinson Jr. brings veteran presence and roster value
Gerald Robinson Jr. appears on Savannah State’s 2026 football roster as a defensive back, but publicly available stats and recent game logs are limited, so his current on-field impact is harder to quantify right now[1][2]. The main appeal is profile value: a DB rostered in a secondary-heavy group who should be judged on coverage discipline, tackling reliability, and special-teams usefulness rather than flashy counting stats[1]. If you want a low-drama, depth-friendly defensive back who can compete for snaps and help stabilize the back end, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look[1][2].
