Kacy Lyman brings veteran infield defense and steady Hoyas experience
Kacy Lyman is a Georgetown softball senior who offers value less in flash and more in reliability: a compact 5'4" right-handed infielder who has been recognized for her defense, earned BIG EAST Freshman/Rookie of the Week honors in 2023, and was a captain in high school. Her profile suggests a player who fits teams that want poise, consistency, and defensive attention to detail rather than pure power production; in 2026, her listed offensive line is still developing, so her appeal is as a dependable, coachable glue player with proven leadership traits.
