Proven scoring guard with a high-upside floor game
DJ Evans has shown he can carry offense in big moments, including a career-best 22-point game for Albany and an earlier 20-point outing that powered a win over NJIT, signaling a guard who can create his own shot and rise to the moment.[1][2] His value is not just scoring: those performances suggest confidence, poise, and a lead-guard mentality that fits teams needing backcourt energy, shot creation, and a reliable competitor when the game tightens.[1][2]
