Temple's Intense Local Linebacker with Zero 2024 Stats
James Namude (51), pronounced nuh-MOO-dee, is a Temple Owls linebacker from Potomac, MD who transferred from Maryland and enrolled at Temple in fall 2006 as a Local 215 member. Despite his intense, community-driven personality and local roots, Namude recorded zero sacks, tackles, or interceptions in the 2024 season, indicating he may be a depth player or redshirt rather than a stat leader. His differentiator is not on-field production but his unwavering team loyalty and intensity level, making him a culture-fit asset for teams valuing grit over stats. However, with no 2024 defensive stats, he is not a good fit for teams needing immediate DE production or a stat-leading linebacker.
