Sherrod Smith looks like a high-upside Boise State corner with real playmaking traits: in 2025 he started two games, picked off a pass against App State, and finished the season by limiting opposing receivers to five catches on 17 targets over the final three games, according to Boise State’s roster notes. His JUCO résumé is even louder, with 34 tackles and four interceptions in 12 games at College of San Mateo, plus a first-team all-league honor.
