Kevin Harmon brings veteran size and ball-hawking pedigree to Southeastern’s secondary
Kevin Harmon, a 6-2, 195-pound defensive back, was a two-time All-Southern California Football Association selection at College of the Desert before joining Southeastern Louisiana, where his résumé points to a physical, instinctive coverage defender with real playmaking chops. In the 2011 season, he posted 26 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and 3 interceptions, after leading his team with 4 picks as a freshman in 2010. That kind of production says he can diagnose quickly, tackle with force, and flip field position — a nice fit for a defense that wants a versatile, aggressive DB.
