New Mexico’s Academic All-Star OL with Hard-Hat Intensity
Dillon Romine, a 6-6, 290-pound Offensive Tackle for the New Mexico Lobos, stands out not just for his size but for his relentless intensity and community-driven personality. As a 2013 & 2014 Academic All-Mountain West selection and 2015 Spring Camp Hard Hat winner, Romine combines elite football discipline with a 98% assignment grade mindset. He actively mentors elementary students post-spring, reflecting a rare blend of toughness and empathy. With no reported injury history and a proven track record of stepping up when called upon (ready in 2014, came through when needed), Romine is a high-fit OL for any team valuing academic excellence, leadership, and unyielding work ethic. His intensity level is unmatched—perfect for teams seeking a leader who plays hard and lives with purpose.
