Power-Hitting Catcher with Elite Intensity and Transfer Portal Momentum
Jacob Gaudreau, the 5'9", 200-lb catcher for Bryant Bulldogs, is a 3-year starter whose 2026 season showcases a .315 BA and .398 OBP, anchored by a clutch three-run homer in March 2026 that flipped a 3-1 deficit into a 5-3 win. His differentiators include elite intensity (threw out 5 stealing runners), doubles power (4 of 5 hits were doubles), and a gritty, data-driven mindset that thrives under pressure. Though he entered the transfer portal as a grad student with 1 year left, his durability (23 games), leadership, and .723 OPS make him a high-fit catcher for teams needing a battle-tested, power-hitting anchor with proven intensity and a track record of flipping games.
