Toreros DB with High-Intensity Coverage and Punt-Return Versatility
Ryan Echer, a 5'10" defensive back for the San Diego Toreros, stands out for his high-intensity tackling and punt-return agility, having recorded 10 tackles (6 solo) and 21 yards on six punt returns last season. Though no stats exist for the current season, his 2004 roster profile confirms he was a key DB (number 26) with a redshirt sophomore background from Littleton, CO. Echer’s differentiator is his relentless coverage style and versatility—returning both punts and kickoffs (62 yards)—making him a fit for teams needing a compact, battle-ready DB who plays with elite intensity. No injury history is reported, and his personality is described as focused and resilient, ideal for high-pressure defensive roles.
