veteran Butler DB with proven tackling volume and ball disruption
In the 2018 season, Eric Stepp played in 11 games for Butler and ranked fourth on the team with 68 tackles, including 43 solo stops, while adding five pass breakups and a season-high 10 tackles against Stetson[1]. That stat line points to a physical, assignment-sound defensive back who shows up near the ball, tackles cleanly, and can help stabilize the back end. For a team looking for a seasoned DB with steady production and a clear willingness to hit, Stepp looks like a useful fit.
