David Bell brings veteran La Salle toughness and a proven all-around forward profile
In the 2003-04 season, La Salle forward David Bell averaged 6.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists while shooting 32.9% from the field, and in 2002-03 he posted 7.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. He was valued as a versatile swing forward with perimeter skill, enough size at 6-7 to defend multiple spots, and a track record of doing the little things—rebounding, getting to the foul line, and bringing mature Atlantic 10 experience. The biggest question is efficiency, but if a team wants a gritty, multi-purpose glue guy, Bell fits the bill.
