High-usage, two-way frontcourt piece with proven scoring touch
Shelton is a physical, productive forward who gives Illinois State a reliable interior scorer, efficient finishing, and enough defensive presence to matter on both ends. The biggest differentiator is his proven game-to-game consistency: he scored in double figures in 25 of 29 games in 2024-25 and reached 20-plus points multiple times, while also showing he can protect the rim and avoid empty possessions with solid free-throw shooting. He fits as a good team add if you want toughness, production, and a player who has already shown he can handle a featured role.
