Jalen Gopie brings veteran depth and disruptive instincts to Sacred Heart’s front seven
Jalen Gopie is a senior linebacker for Sacred Heart who has shown a knack for making plays behind the line, including 2 sacks in the 2022 season and 15 tackles in the 2021 season, with 11 solo stops and 4 assists[1]. At 6-foot, 220 pounds, he profiles as a physical, experienced defender who can add edge-setting toughness and occasional backfield disruption[1][3]. He also carries the value of a multi-year contributor, which matters for teams that want a steady, battle-tested presence rather than just splashy stats[1].
