Defensive-Minded Freshman Building Foundation at Air Force
The 6-2 forward/center from Stockton, CA made an immediate impact as a freshman in the 2022-23 season, appearing in all 31 games for the Falcons. Shelton led Air Force in blocked shots (12) while ranking second in total rebounds (107), showcasing her defensive versatility and presence in the paint. Though her scoring (4.0 PPG) and field goal percentage (37.0%) suggest room for offensive development, her rebounding prowess (3.5 RPG) and shot-blocking instincts mark her as a high-potential rim protector. Best suited for programs valuing defensive intensity and willing to develop a young, athletic big with upside.
