Omari Minor gives UT Martin a steady backcourt organizer
Minor has been a low-usage, pass-first guard for UT Martin in the 2025-26 season, averaging 1.7 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in limited action, with his value showing more in table-setting than scoring. His most notable trait is distribution: he’s already shown the ability to create for others, including a 7-assist outing against Tennessee Tech, which suggests real feel as a connector guard. For a team needing poise, ball movement, and a team-first floor general, he’s worth a look; for a scoring-heavy role, the fit is less obvious.[3][2]
