Jjay Mcafee brings proven Sun Belt production and red-zone value to Georgia Southern
In the 2023 season, Jjay Mcafee set a Georgia Southern tight end record with 37 catches for 378 yards and 4 touchdowns, earning All-Sun Belt honorable mention recognition[2][7][15]. He’s a smart fit for teams that want a TE who can flex into the passing game, work the middle, and finish drives; he also showed durability by playing in 12 games and starting 10[7]. The differentiator is polish: he was productive enough to draw conference notice, but still offers room for a bigger role after arriving as a transfer and settling into the position[2][7].
