Robert Davis Jr.: Sun Belt's Sharpshooting Sniper Now Lighting Up ODU
Robert Davis Jr., a 6-6 guard from Detroit, exploded in 2024-25 at Old Dominion with a program-record 116 threes (nation's 8th), leading D1 in attempts (348) at 3.41/gm and the Sun Belt in MPG (35:37), averaging 15.6 PPG while earning Player of the Week honors for a 32-pt career-high (7/3s). Transferred from UMASS after a solid freshman year; his elite volume shooting, clutch gene (game-winner vs Texas State), and 84.4% FT prowess make him a dynamic, high-energy fit for teams needing spacing and scoring punch—no major injury flags.
