veteran Spartans linebacker with solid build and long-view experience
Devon Calloway is a 6-foot, 220-pound inside linebacker who has spent years in San Jose State’s program, giving him the kind of maturity and assignment familiarity coaches love[1][2]. The catch: available records show he redshirted in 2017 and did not appear in games from 2018-2020, so the value case is more about developmental depth, physical profile, and system knowledge than a stat-sheet headline[2]. If your team wants a seasoned, low-drama linebacker room piece with a classic interior-LB frame, he’s worth a look; if you need proven production, this isn’t that story[1][2].
