Michael Jacob brings veteran cornerback pedigree to Sam Houston
Michael Jacob is listed as a cornerback for Sam Houston, but the most readily available public profile data points to an older roster entry rather than a current 2026 season stat line, so his present-day production is difficult to verify cleanly. What stands out is the long, lean defensive-back build and the kind of experience that usually translates to sticky coverage technique and comfort in zone or man looks. If a staff wants a CB who can learn quickly, compete physically, and add maturity to the room, he looks like a reasonable fit—but the lack of fresh, confirmed stat leaders makes a full eval a bit of a mystery box.
