Evan Osborne gives Southern Miss a rangy, physical senior presence at linebacker
In the 2026 Southern Miss roster, Evan Osborne is listed as a 6-foot-3, 210-pound senior linebacker from Pearl, Mississippi, which hints at the kind of long, physical frame coaches love in the middle of a defense. The useful fit here is his size-versatility combo: he looks like a downhill, run-fit linebacker who can bring energy and toughness, with hometown familiarity and veteran status that usually translate into reliability and locker-room credibility. Stat tracking on the available sources doesn’t surface a clear 2026 individual production line, so he profiles more as a stability-and-upside add than a headline-grabbing stat monster.
