Versatile Athlete with Untapped Basketball Potential for Northern Colorado Bears
Kaley Hoover, listed as a forward for the Northern Colorado Bears, brings a multi-sport pedigree from her 2007 Tarleton State freshman volleyball season where she posted 17 kills on 38 attempts (.368 hitting %) across 12 matches, plus 18 digs and 9 blocks, showcasing elite blocking instincts and athleticism translatable to basketball rebounding and defense; no current Bears basketball stats found for 2025-26, suggesting possible walk-on or redshirt status, but her two-sport UNC background and high school echoes (e.g., Kaylee Hoover's 7.1 PPG, 3.1 RPG) highlight a gritty, adaptable competitor ideal for teams needing intense, multi-positional frontcourt depth—worth scouting if seeking undervalued hustle.
