Jovon Russell brings game-breaking speed and steady production to Bethune-Cookman’s WR room
Jovon Russell is a dynamic, undersized-but-bouncy receiver who has already shown real value as a productive playmaker and return threat, with 62 career receptions and 771 receiving yards entering 2026, plus a reception in 20 straight games. He fits the mold of a high-energy, high-effort slot or space player: quick, competitive, and tough to corral once he gets rolling. The appeal is obvious—he adds juice, versatility, and consistency, which is exactly the kind of profile that can spark an offense and make a coaching staff smile.
