Vallescorbo brings steady glove, contact pop for Alcorn State
Adrian Vallescorbo, Alcorn State’s senior catcher in the 2026 season, profiles as a tough, dependable backstop with real value on both sides of the ball: he hit .256 with 21 hits, 11 RBI and a .970 fielding percentage in the 2026 cumulative stats, while also handling a heavy catching workload. His calling card is reliability behind the plate and enough bat-to-ball skill to keep innings moving, with multiple game reports showing him contributing timely RBI and working through a full season in the middle of the Braves’ lineup. If a team wants an experienced catcher who won’t flinch under pressure, he’s your guy.
