Jessica Barbosa brings size, rebounding edge, and a pro-level interior motor
Jessica Barbosa is a 6-foot-1 forward who profiles as a physical, high-motor interior presence for UTEP, with her best calling card being rebounding and effort; in her UTEP bio, she was praised for a senior year average of 14.5 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game before redshirting her freshman season. Her game suggests a player who can change the tone with toughness, rim protection, and board work more than highlight-shot volume. If you want a frontcourt piece who plays with grit and does the dirty work, she’s the kind of fit coaches love.
