Anthony Shutt brings veteran defensive-back toughness to FAMU
Anthony Shutt profiles as a versatile, instinctive safety with proven production in FAMU’s program history, including a junior season with 62 tackles and 3 interceptions on defense plus 40 catches and 3 touchdowns as a wideout, which signals real ball skills and football IQ[3]. He also showed up in big moments with a 10-tackle outing against Bethune-Cookman, reinforcing that he can be a physical, high-motor defender who fits best with a team that values versatility, downhill tackling, and playmaking in the secondary[1][3].
