a proven Charleston Southern scorer with guard instincts and leadership juice
Cortez Mitchell’s last verified playing profile at Charleston Southern shows a guard who could score in bunches, averaging 10.2 points across 59 career games and posting 599 points in two seasons, with a knack for creating offense off the dribble and finishing as a reliable perimeter threat. He was also a steady playmaker, handing out 60 assists in 2016-17 while starting 19 of 31 games. Beyond the box score, sources describe him as hard-working and a voted team captain, which screams competitiveness and buy-in—exactly the kind of glue guy you want if you value leadership and shot-making.
