Maryland-Eastern Shore's Dani Brown is a strike-throwing two-way depth piece with recent pitcher's-week buzz
Brown has flashed as a useful, competitive two-way option for UMES, earning MEAC Pitcher of the Week honors after a 0.72 ERA over 9.2 innings across three games in March 2026. Her profile suggests value in the circle first: she can give quality innings, limit damage, and compete in short-turnaround stretches, while her background as a 5'7" P/OF adds roster flexibility. She looks like a fit for teams that want a gritty arm with upside and versatility rather than pure showcase velocity.
