Arkadiy Mkrtychyan brings pro-level size and international experience to Idaho
Mkrtychyan is a 6-foot-7 power forward with documented international and Armenia national-team experience, which gives Idaho a seasoned frontcourt option rather than a developmental flyer. Publicly available profiles identify him as a veteran presence with scoring flashes in event play and a track record that suggests physicality, rebounding, and matchup versatility more than pure shot creation. Because the available sources are sparse on recent college-specific production, the key takeaway is upside through experience, size, and toughness—useful if Idaho wants a mature, flexible forward who can defend, rebound, and stabilize rotation minutes.
